CBL Release Notes November 2011

Effective Monday, 21 November 2011, as part of Clearstream Banking's ongoing commitment to the timeliness and quality of our services to customers, CBL will implement the mandatory SWIFT Standards Release 2011 together with quality enhancements requested by our customers.

The majority of the SWIFT changes concern messages for asset services with minor changes for settlement and reconciliation. The following messages will be impacted:

Custody:

• MT564 Corporate Action Notifications and Income Pre-Advice Report (IPAR);
• MT565 Corporate Action Instruction;
• MT566 Corporate Action Confirmation;
• MT567 Corporate Action Status and Processing Advice;
• MT568 Corporate Action Narrative;

Settlement and Reconciliation:

• MT544, MT545, MT546 and MT547 Settlement Confirmations.

In CreationOnline, we will streamline access to reports generated by CreationDirect and SWIFT. Customers will also be able to improve efficiency for their pre-release cash and securities instructions by making use of the new instruction file uploads.

The convenient Custody, Corporate Action respond upload feature for pre-release instructions has been expanded to provide new fields for beneficial owner details.

Users of Financial Instrument queries in Reference Data will now be able to download Terms and Conditions directly in CreationOnline.

Also, a new demo version of CreationOnline will assist customers in becoming more familiar with the extended range of business functions in the application.
