ICSD Connectivity
The CreationConnect suite of connectivity products offers the perfect solution for real-time access to secure, enhanced information, instruction input, transaction and position reporting for Clearstream Banking Luxembourg for Settlement, Custody, Global Securities Financing and Investment Funds Services.
- CreationOnline –Secure Web-browser, providing continuous, real-time access to Clearstream’s range of business services.
- CreationDirect-secure file transfer via the public internet, Virtual Private Network or SWIFTNet File Act.
- Creation via SWIFT- fully ISO compliant, secure and automated message transfer through SWIFT NET FIN.

CSD Connectivity
Clearstream Banking Frankfurt offers a range of connectivity options for the settlement of stock exchange and OTC transactions and reporting for German and international securities eligible for Collective Safe Custody.
Several communication channels are available:
- Online: access the CASCADE platform via CASCADE-Host in German, CASCADE-PC via GUI in German or English GUI and HOB RD VPN. The CA Spool allows reports to be sent directly from the CASCADE mainframe to the dedicated printer in your organisation. CBF File Service provides access to archived monthly movement report/custody account data from CASCADE.
- File Transfer: Retrieve reports and transfer large volumes of data in files with standardised ISO 15022 data formats via CASCADE’S Link Manager (LIMA).
- SWIFT: Exchange ISO 15022 messages and receive reports via the SWIFT network.
- IBM WebSphere MQ: Exchange ISO 15022 messages and receive reports.
- Non-Collective Safe Custody (NCSC): Securities can be managed by CBF customers via the Creation Platform and accessed with the ICSD suite of connectivity options. CBF customers may use their existing CASCADE Link Manager (LIMA) to communicate with CreationDirect via LIMA.
