Optimised Credit and Collateral Usage

The new Credit and Collateral usage query on Creation Online offer customers the benefits of:

  • Optimised collateral management, based on real-time information on credit and collateral usage and availability

  • Increased settlement efficiency due to enhanced collateral allocation

  • Reduced cost of securities fails or under-utiltised collateral

It provides, for a specific account, real-time information on the following.

1. Current Credit & Collateral Usage (for the current processing day), including:

  • Credit line usage

  • Collateral usage

  • Collateral availability

2. Next Day Forecast Credit & Collateral Summary (for the next day value):

  • Consolidated forecast totals of cash and securities collateral impact

3. Next Day Forecast Credit & Collateral Details (for the next value day) by:

  • Security instruction type : internal transactions, external transactions

  • Cash instruction type: pre-advice of funds, withdrawal of funds, foreign exchange
