Clearstream aligns its position in the regulatory debate to customer needs; it monitors developments and participates in all relevant discussions.

Clearstream is an active member of the Commission’s Clearing and Settlement Advisory and Monitoring Expert group (CESAME) on systems integration in the EU. In particular, it ensures that the customer position is properly reflected in the lively European debate on post-trade activities.

Clearstream will continue to contribute to market driven solutions and will work closely with market players to achieve regulation that ensures investor security, a level playing field and growth of financial markets.
