New service enhancements coming in November

On 23 November 2009, Clearstream will implement a package of new services and enhanced functionalities in the following areas:

• Extended real-time settlement processing (RTP): will enable end-to-end, real-time settlement and asset servicing 21/24 hours, starting from SD-1 22:00 CET (currently 04:20 SD), an increase of almost seven hours. This will give you better interoperability with local Asia-Pacific markets, as well as improved access and responsiveness within European markets.
  
  
• New transaction linking service for securities settlement instructions: will enable you to automatically make deliveries or receipts of securities dependent (contingent) upon the prior settlement of other, specifically linked, securities transactions

• SWIFT standards release
• Tax facilities enhancements for Canada, Italy, Norway, South Korea and USA
• New second layer participant matching for internal transactions
• New hold/release mechanism for securities settlement instructions
• MT530 Transaction Processing Command support
• Enhanced Power of Attorney functionality
• Improved reporting of domestic cancellations

These enhancements respond to our customers' needs for innovative and improving products and maintain our service at the high level standard they expect from us.
