| 19 March 2009 Philippe Metoudi, Head of Clearstream for Asia Pacific, the Middle East and Africa has been named “Custodian Banker of the Year” by the renowned Hong Kong-based monthly magazine “The Asset”. The magazine's annual Triple A Transaction Banking Awards are designed to identify and reward institutions and individuals that have made a significant contribution to the development of the finance industry in Asia. Besides the Industry Leadership Awards the magazine nominated institutions in 8 other categories, including Best Transaction Bank, the Best in Securities and Fund Services Bank, and the Best Global Custodian just to name a few. Philippe Metoudi joined Clearstream in 1992 and has been working in Hong Kong since 1993. He is responsible for the implementation of business strategies in the Asia-Pacific, Middle East and Africa regions through Clearstream Banking's offices in Hong Kong, Dubai, Singapore and Tokyo. Philippe is a Clearstream International Board member and a member of the Clearstream Executive Board.
