Successful Business Continuity Management test with customer participation
This past weekend, on Saturday 30 September 2017, Clearstream Banking S.A. successfully performed a Business Continuity Management – Systems Unavailability test in which it offered customers the opportunity to participate.
The objective was to simulate the loss of one of the two data centres while production processing continued, thereby verifying that business activities could still be performed from the remaining data centre.
Our IT and business teams validated the availability of business critical applications and performed day-to-day business activities. Tests were performed from our locations in Cork, Frankfurt, London, Luxembourg, Prague and Singapore.
Customers had the opportunity to participate from locations in Europe, the Middle-East, America and Asia and reported successful results.
This again confirms the reliability of our systems and the continuous attention we pay to safeguarding our customers’ business activities.
