South Korea: Revised consent letter for Investment Registration Certificate holders


As per the Financial Services Commission (FSC) of South Korea, a revised consent letter for Investment Registration Certificate (IRC) holders will be effective on

20 April 2015

Impact on customers

Existing IRC holders with accounts opened via Clearstream Banking1, with Clearstream Banking’s depository (HSBC Seoul), do not have to re-submit the revised consent letter as the depository will automatically replace the existing consent letter on file with the revised consent letter.

This consent letter will have a validity period of one year and the renewal will be performed automatically by the depository.
