Finland: CCP transactions to settle as normal

Further to our Marketflash M17015, dated 12 April 2017, the three CCP’s EuroCCP, LCH Clearnet, and SIX X-clear have agreed to revoke their decision to treat 13 April 2017 as a settlement holiday. As a result, they will settle transactions today.

According to Nasdaq Helsinki’s calendar 13 April 2017 is a regular trading day, and in Euroclear Finland’s (EFi) settlement calendar it is a half settlement day with a shortened settlement schedule.

We continue to monitor the situation in the Finnish market and will provide further information as it becomes available.
