Due to severe weather conditions in Uruguay, the Central Bank system closed earlier at 15:30 local time on 19 September and Financial institutions are interrupting their normal activity until 20 September 2012.
Consequently cash payments in Uruguayan Pesos (UYU) and settlement of securities transactions on the Uruguayan market for value 19 and 20 September are expected to be delayed until financial activity resumes.
Customers are advised to take into consideration this expected disruption and the possible consequent delays.
We continue to monitor the situation and will provide new information as it becomes available.
