Singapore: Mandatory use of fields :94B: and :22F: - reminder
Further to our announcement A15173, dated 6 October 2015, Clearstream Banking1 would like to remind customers that, effective
1 July 2016
The following two SWIFT fields are mandatory for settlement instructions to the Central Depository (CDP):
- field :94B: (Place of Trade);
- field :22F: (Type of Settlement Transaction).
Impact on customers
Customers are also reminded that the above fields are already mandatory in Clearstream Banking on all MT540 (Receive Free), MT541 (Receive against Payment), MT542 (Deliver Free) and MT543 (Deliver against Payment) instructions, and in the equivalent fields in CreationOnline Securities Instructions. Customers are requested to ensure that these fields are complete in order to avoid the rejection of instructions.
