T2S Release 1.3.2 – Deployment to T2S Pre-Production Environment (UTEST)

In October 2017, CBF started to report2 the implementation timeline and the envisaged scope of the T2S Release 1.3.2.
On 12 January 2018, it was agreed, that a resolution for 22 Problem Tickets (PBIs) is planned to be implemented in February 2018.
Based on the latest decision made by the Operational Managers Group (OMG), CBF provides, attached to this announcement, the updated file (“T2S Release 1.3.2 version 3.0”) comprising all changes that are relevant for the implementation of the upcoming release. Please note that this file contains only items that might have impact on CBF customers acting in ICP and/or DCP mode. Compared to the previously published version, no PBIs have been added and the status is changed for some PBIs.
The final assessment related to the scope of T2S Release 1.3.2 shows, that the announced fixes will not require software changes in CBF. Irrespective of whether CBF has to modify its software, CBF will maintain its link to the T2S Pre-Production Environment (UTEST) so that customers can test on their demand. The simulation activities will be conducted in a “free simulation mode”. The already established static data for CBF accounts and the related connectivity settings in the CBF customer simulation environment (IMS23) will remain unchanged.
Customers can start their test activities on Monday, 22 January 2018, after the deployment activities for T2S Release 1.3.2 have been completed in UTEST. The T2S test environment will go into maintenance mode on Thursday, 18 January 2018, at 19:00 (CET)3 and open again on Monday morning at 07:00. On Friday, 19 January 2018, UTEST will not be available; this means no testing can be conducted on this day.
In order to prepare the deployment of the release, the CBF customer simulation environment (IMS23) will run the liquidity management procedures independently from the T2 CUST4 processing. Customers using the liquidity management services in IMS23 need to consider that no liquidity transfers will be initiated from 18 to 21 January 2018.
Please note that during the “free customer simulation” software fixes for the UTEST environment might be announced by T2S on short notice. This can have an impact on the timeline on Friday, that is, the “T2S Release Day” schedule will apply. Additionally, CBF will use Friday afternoons to maintain the customer simulation environment (IMS23). Therefore, IMS23 will be closed every Friday from 14:00 until the end of March 2018.
