Success for Clearstream in T2S migration test
A third Migration Weekend Dress Rehearsal (MWDR) involving Clearstream’s CSDs in Germany and Luxembourg was completed successfully last weekend. The test was conducted on 21 and 22 May 2016 together with the ECB, SWIFT and all other wave 4 CSDs and NCBs.
All of Clearstream’s internal targets concerning performance, stability and data quality were fully achieved. Clearstream systems performed well and within the expected timeframes. The results of this test confirm Clearstream’s technical readiness for T2S, and show that Clearstream’s CSDs are on track for the T2S migration in February 2017.
Furthermore, the scheduled migration activities were completed by the Eurosystem within the envisaged timeline.
Based on this result, the next step of testing involving customers can now be started. Clearstream’s CSDs and their customers are looking forward to performing the next MWDR together from 7 to 9 July 2016, a week before the Wave 4 Community Test commences.
