OneClearstream service description
Customers with CBF CASCADE accounts should refer to:
- The OneClearstream Customer Handbook that describes the OneClearstream asset servicing processes for customers of Clearstream Banking Frankfurt using the OneClearstream service.
- The OneClearstream Functional Specifications 4.11 1 which provides guidance to customers regarding upcoming OneClearstream migrations. It describes on a market by market basis OneClearstream services and processes applied to the Investor-CSD links (that is, non CBF issued securities). The activation of OneClearstream services for CBF Investor CSD links is subject to a pre-defined mandatory rollout timeline per market. This document is published through multiple document releases and does not replace the customary OneClearstream documentation.
- The
OneClearstream Asset servicing - CBF issued securities
document that describes the OneClearstream asset servicing processes for CBF as the Issuer-CSD. The activation of OneClearstream services for CBF-issued securities is optional.
Note: As part of the Corporate Action Harmonisation (CAH) Project as of 3 July 2023, asset servicing for CBF-issued securities will be upgraded to OneClearstream Asset Servicing level (CAH – KADI DE migration to OneCAS) and becomes mandatory for all customers with CBF, CBF-i and CBL accounts. This applies only for migrated CBF-issued securities and respective events. For details, customers should refer to the respective announcements and Detailed Functional Specifications which are provided below in the market-specific migration information for the German market.
Customers with CBL or CBF-i accounts are informed about the changes to the existing services via Release information and dedicated announcements.
Migration and Activation Guides
Customers with CBF CASCADE accounts should refer to the OneClearstream Migration Guide 2 that describes the generic cutover impacts for the following migration scenarios:
- Mandatory migrations for existing CBF links:
- CBF Investor-CSD link migration under OneClearstream.
- Voluntary migration:
- Individual customer migration under OneClearstream asset servicing for CBF-issued securities;
- Individual customer migration under OneClearstream settlement input and reporting.
For the generic cutover impacts for the OneClearstream activation of the new CBF links, customers with CBF CASCADE accounts should refer to the “ OneClearstream New Link Activation Guide ”.
Customers with CBL or CBF-i accounts should refer to Announcement A17129 for an overview of the generic migration principles and preparation activities. Cutover impacts related to specific market migration are published via dedicated announcements.
