Norway: Change of link type
Further to announcement, A18162 Clearstream Banking1 is pleased to announce that its change of account operator DNB Bank ASA, Oslo, to agent Danske Bank A/S, Copenhagen, is proceeding as scheduled. Danske Bank will become Clearstream Banking’s nominee agent for its account at the Norwegian Central Securities Depository, Verdipapirsentralen ASA (VPS), and replace the current operator DNB, who has decided to exit the sub-custody business.
This change is accompanied by an upgrade in the link type to Norway. Clearstream Banking has enhanced its link to the Norwegian CSD to a directly operated link. Clearstream Banking will be acting as “account operator” at the CSD.
This will offer Clearstream Banking and its customers increased asset protection, as all assets will be held at VPS directly in a Clearstream Banking Nominee account.
For further information, customers may contact Clearstream Banking Client Services or their Relationship Officer.
