Capital reduction of Epigenomics AG registered shares at a rate of 4:1
Effective value date 29 December 2022, there will be a capital reduction of Epigenomics AG registered shares (ISIN DE000A3H2184) at a ratio of 4:1 in die Epigenomics AG Inhaberteilrechte (ISIN DE000A32VPC8).
The relevant processing stages and their sequence are described below.
Re-registration stop from 27 to 29 December 2022
It will not be possible to create and forward re-registration and initial registration instructions in the class of Epigenomics AG registered shares (ISIN DE000A3H2184) in CASCADE-RS between 27 and 29 December 2022. The system will automatically delete re-registration or initial registration instructions that are pending in CASCADE-RS during this period.
Entering and transferring instructions for re-registration or initial registration in the class Epigenomics AG converted registered shares (ISIN DE000A32VN83) is possible starting from 29 December 2022.
Removal of registered shares from the books on 29 December 2022
On 28 August 2022 and in preparation for the removal, Clearstream Banking1 will automatically transfer the registered positions in Epigenomics AG registered shares (ISIN DE000A3H2184) to the unregistered positions (Freier Meldebestand) of the respective bank via position transfer.
Positions in Epigenomics AG registered shares (ISIN DE000A3H2184) will be removed for value date 29 December 2022.
Entry of share fractions on 29 December 2022
The Epigenomics AG fractional rights (ISIN DE000A32VPC8) will be transferred to the banks at a rate of 4:1 with the value date of 29 December 2022. This means that banks will receive one Epigenomics AG fractional share (ISIN DE000A32VPC8) for every four Epigenomics AG registered shares (ISIN DE000A3H2184).
Exchange of share fractions into original shares from 29 December 2022 to 11 January 2023
From 29 December 2022 to 11 January 2023 inclusive, customers may exchange Epigenomics AG fractional rights (ISIN DE000A32VPC8) into converted shares of Epigenomics AG (ISIN DE000A32VN83). For this purpose, please use the transaction KVEE WE (securities transfer) with the fractional rights indicator TR 3 in CASCADE:

Stock exchange trades, CCP and OTC transactions
Stock exchange and CCP transactions still pending on the evening of 28 December 2022 will be converted automatically, that is, the class of Epigenomics AG (ISIN DE000A3H2184) is converted to Epigenomics AG fractional rights (ISIN DE000A32VPC8), adjusting the nominal value at a rate of 4:1.
CASCADE OTC transactions will not be converted automatically.
Registration of shareholders via re-registration from 29 December 2022
After the capital reduction, the custodian banks must enter the shareholders of Epigenomics AG converted registered shares (ISIN DE000A32VN83) in the company's share register via re-registration. This will be possible beginning on 29 December 2022. The nominal value after the capital reduction must be used.

Due to the processing capacities in CASCADE-RS, submissions amounting to 10,000 re-registrations or more per transfer must be agreed in advance with Client Services. Clearstream Banking reserves the right to reject file transfers that have not been agreed upon within the scope of overall coordination.
