Corporate action announcements are published in the WSS (Wertpapier-Service-System database for the administration of information about securities), Wertpapiermitteilungen, the Bundesanzeiger (Newspaper) and Amtliches Kursblatt (Newspaper).

The most common events in the German market include splits, bonus issues, purchase/exchange offers and rights issues.
Organisation of AGM/EGMs
According to German law (Stock Corporation Act), a stock corporation is obliged to hold an AGM at least once a year and this usually takes place between March and August. Notices of such meetings are published in the official gazette, called Bundesanzeiger, and must appear therein no later than one month before the date of the AGM. The agenda of the AGM must be announced at the same time.
