Eligible fund types in CBL
Funds can be in the form of:
- Registered schemes or Managed Investment Schemes governed under Chapter 5C of Corporations Act 2021 (Cth) (Corporations Act)
- Unregistered schemes governed by the terms of the trust deed, and general trust law and state-based trustee legislation

Exchange Traded Fund (ETF) – Listed ETFs have the same settlement process as listed equities.
Listed Managed funds - Australian Securities Exchange (ASX) offers four (4) types of listed managed funds:
- Listed investment company (LIC) and Listed investment trust (LIT);
- Australian real estate investment trust (A-REIT);
- Infrastructure fund;
- Absolute return fund.
