Pursuant to the law of Malaysia, the following unlisted funds are eligible to be held with CBL:

  • Unit  Trust Funds: Governed by the Malaysian Capital Markets and Services Act (CMSA), and are generally:
    • Intended for investments in specific assets or general business;
    • Offered to retail investors and/or non-retail (wholesale) investors:
      • Funds offered to retail investors: Subjected to the Guidelines on Unit Trust Funds (UTF Guidelines);
      • Funds offered to wholesale investors: Subjected to the Guidelines on Unlisted Capital Market Products Under The Lodge And Launch Framework (LOLA Guidelines).
    • Established in Malaysia:
      • Malaysia domiciled funds: subjected to the UTF Guidelines.
