Register market
Pursuant to the law of Malaysia, the following unlisted funds are eligible to be held with CBL:
- Unit Trust Funds: Governed by the Malaysian Capital Markets and Services Act (CMSA), and are generally:
- Intended for investments in specific assets or general business;
- Offered to retail investors and/or non-retail (wholesale) investors:
- Funds offered to retail investors: Subjected to the Guidelines on Unit Trust Funds (UTF Guidelines);
- Funds offered to wholesale investors: Subjected to the Guidelines on Unlisted Capital Market Products Under The Lodge And Launch Framework (LOLA Guidelines).
- Established in Malaysia:
- Malaysia domiciled funds: subjected to the UTF Guidelines.
