Validation of Authorised Signatures

In addition and as an alternative to current existing processes, Clearstream Banking is pleased to announce the acceptance of its customers' authorised signature lists through SignatureNet. Clearstream Banking will act as 'user banks' on the SignatureNet platform to accept authorised signature lists from its customers who have signed up as an 'issuer bank' with SignatureNet.

SignatureNet is a web-based platform, registered under the law of Switzerland, which financial institutions may use for their day-to-day management (posting/validation) of signatures. Financial institutions may sign up as either 'issuer' or 'user', or both.

Clearstream Banking kindly requests its customers, that have already signed up as an 'issuer bank' with SignatureNet, to confirm to Clearstream Banking, by either authenticated SWIFT or duly signed letter, to exclusively use SignatureNet for the access to the up-to-date official list of authorised customer signatures.
