Mexico: Capital gains tax free corporate bonds now eligible

Clearstream Banking¹ is pleased to announce that effective

the new style of capital gains tax free corporate bonds known locally as “Certificados Bursátiles”, or “Cebures” are now eligible in Clearstream Banking.

The asset class extension in Clearstream Banking is currently limited to:

We shall inform customers as and when additional tax free “Cebures” come to market.

As with other Mexican domestic market securities, these “Cebures” will be eligible for Bridge transactions with Euroclear Bank S.A/N.V counterparties.
