Turkey: Additional information required for registration of an existing national ID Number for Turkish individuals

Clearstream Banking¹ would like to inform customers that effective

immediately

when submitting a request for registration of an existing national ID Number for a beneficial owner that is a Turkish individual, their mobile number must be provided.

Impact on customers

Customers wishing to register an existing national ID Number, for a beneficial owner that is a Turkish individual, must provide the following documentation:

A copy of an identity card (Turkish Resident identity card, driving licence or passport) containing the Turkish national ID number; and
A Request for Registration of an existing Turkish Tax ID or Turkish national ID number. The form has been updated to include the requested mobile number; and
A One-Time Certificate for Turkish Securities (if not already provided)
