Clearstream Banking1 informs customers that the bearer shares of Kontron AG (ISIN DE0006053952) will be converted on
29 August 2017
into registered shares of S&T Deutschland Holding AG registered shares (ISIN DE000A2BPK83) at a rate of 1:1. The conversion takes place based on the holdings on the evening of 28 August 2017.
Merger of holdings in registered shares
The creation of registered share positions as of the conversion date will be carried out by Clearstream Banking in the standard processing on 28 August 2017 for value date 29 August 2017 on the custody account balances and positions of open stock exchange transactions.
The positions in the registered shares from S&T Deutschland Holding AG are created in unregistered positions (FMB). The order placement in CASCADE-RS is possible starting on 29 August 2017.
Securities market transactions and holding transfers in the registered shares of S&T Deutschland Holding AG are first processed on 29 August 2017.
Registration of shareholders in the share register
The registration of the shareholders in the share register of the issuer is implemented via the depository banks by re-registration in CASCADE-RS using the re-registration type "2" ("other not from purchase"). Information about the notification of the shareholders in the share register can be taken from the "Guidelines for banks on entering shareholder data in CASCADE-RS" (CBF announcement RS137 of 9 November 2007).

Note about submission planning
Due to the processing capacities in CASCADE-RS, submissions amounting to 10,000 re-registrations or more per transfer must be arranged in advance with Client Services. Within the scope of overall coordination, Clearstream Banking reserves the right to reject file transfers that have not been arranged in advance.
