Epigenomics AG: Capital reduction of registered shares at a rate of 5:1

Effective value date 12 December 2023, there will be a capital reduction of Epigenomics AG registered shares (ISIN DE000A32VN83) at a ratio of 5:1 in Epigenomics AG fractional interest (ISIN DE000A37FT82).
The relevant processing stages and their sequence are described below.
Re-registration stop from 8 to 12 December 2023
It will not be possible to create and forward re-registration and initial registration instructions in the class of Epigenomics AG registered shares (ISIN DE000A32VN83) in CASCADE-RS between 8 and 12 December 2023. The system will automatically delete re-registration or initial registration instructions that are pending in CASCADE-RS during this period.
Entering and transferring instructions for re-registration or initial registration in the class Epigenomics AG converted registered shares (ISIN DE000A37FT41) is possible starting from 12 December 2023.
Removal of registered shares from the books on 12 December 2023
On 11 December 2023 and in preparation for the removal, Clearstream Banking1 will automatically transfer the registered positions in Epigenomics AG registered shares (ISIN DE000A32VN83) to Freier Meldebestand (FMB, unregistered positions) of the respective bank via position transfer.
Positions in Epigenomics AG registered shares (ISIN DE000A32VN83) will be removed for value date 12 December 2023.
Entry of share fractions on 12 December 2023
The Epigenomics AG fractional rights (ISIN DE000A37FT82) will be transferred to the banks at a rate of 5:1 with the value date of 12 December 2023. This means that banks will receive one Epigenomics AG fractional share (ISIN DE000A37FT82) for every five Epigenomics AG registered shares (ISIN DE000A32VN83).
Exchange of share fractions into original shares from 12 December 2023 to 2 January 2024
From 12 December 2023 up to and including 2 January 2024, clients may exchange Epigenomics AG fractional rights (ISIN DE000A37FT82) into converted shares of Epigenomics AG (ISIN DE000A37FT41). For this purpose, please use the transaction KVEE WE (securities transfer) with the fractional rights indicator TR 3 in CASCADE:

Stock exchange trades, CCP and OTC transactions
Stock exchange and CCP transactions still pending on the evening of 11 December 2023 will be converted automatically, that is, the class of Epigenomics AG (ISIN DE000A32VN83) is converted to Epigenomics AG fractional rights (ISIN DE000A37FT82), adjusting the nominal value at a rate of 5:1.
CASCADE OTC transactions will be converted automatically. AA01 E (Emissionseinführung/issuance introduction) and AA01 B (Bestandsübertrag/transfer of holdings) transactions will not be converted automatically.
Registration of shareholders via re-registration from 12 December 2023
After the capital reduction, the custodian banks must enter the shareholders of Epigenomics AG converted registered shares (ISIN DE000A37FT41) in the company's share register via re-registration. This will be possible beginning on 12 December 2023. The nominal value after the capital reduction must be used.

Due to the processing capacities in CASCADE-RS, submissions amounting to 10,000 re-registrations or more per transfer must be agreed in advance with Client Services. Clearstream Banking reserves the right to reject file transfers that have not been agreed upon within the scope of overall coordination.
