Vestima: Enhanced self-service experience - Empowering Order Issuers with advanced reporting and data capabilities - Update
Reference
Note: This announcement, originally published on 13 October 2025, and updated on 7 November and 22 December 2025, has been further updated to provide clients with information on Trading Availability Check. Changes have been highlighted.
Clearstream1 informs Order Issuers (“OIs”) about the forthcoming enhancements to Vestima, effective
24 November 2025.
These enhancements are intended to improve operational efficiency and provide a more intuitive user experience. The following are the key updates:
New Vestima Predictive Data
For each order, Vestima will now estimate and display three predictive2 data points:
- Expected Trade Date (“ETD”);
- Expected Confirmation Date (“ECD”);
- Expected Settlement Date (“ESD”).
The predictive data points will be available in the following locations:
- Vestima Order Book Download (template attached);
- Order Details screen;
- Vestima reports:
- OI statement of orders (template attached);
- OI statement of orders Vestima;
- OI statement of orders (Vestima Prime);
- OI statement of orders (aggregated);
- MP-OI statement of orders;
- MP-OI Statement of Orders aggregated (Vestima&VestimaPRIME).
For each of the six reports, the columns for ETD, ECD, and ESD will be incorporated in a structured manner: ETD will be positioned immediately before the trade date column, ECD will precede the confirmation input date column, and ESD will be placed directly before the settlement date column. This ensures consistency and clarity across all reports.
Next expected NAV
The next expected2 NAV date will be displayed in the fund details.
New Settlement status
- Security Settlement status will be displayed in Vestima for all orders when available.
- Cash Settlement status will be displayed for all orders for which a settlement instruction is generated by Vestima.
VestimaPRIME NAV Price History report
Vestima will introduce an on-demand VestimaPRIME NAV Price History report, providing clients with access to the most recent six NAVs for all VestimaPRIME funds in which they hold positions. Subscriptions can be requested by contacting your Relationship Manager.
New event console for orders rejected by the OHAs
From the new event console, OIs will be able to perform the following actions:
- Ask to reactivate an order;
- Accept the rejection;
- Ask for investigation;
- Add comments to orders rejected by the OHA for follow up with Clearstream.
New landing page
Clients will now be directed to the Order Search window as the default landing page, rather than the Order Book.
Trading Availability Check
In support of a faster time-to-market for actively traded funds, Clearstream requests that asset setup or trading chain requests be initiated only when there is a clear intention to trade. Effective April 2026, if no trading activity occurs within six months following the creation of a task (such as asset setup or trading chain), a fee will be applied. These charges will be reflected in your November 2026 Vestima invoice. Further details regarding the applicable fees will be communicated in the updated fee schedule in due course.
For any questions regarding asset setup, fund eligibility, or trading chain creation, please utilise the Trading Availability Check tool on Vestima.
Note: Requests submitted through alternative channels will incur a fee.
