Clearstream1 informs clients of an upcoming reintroduction of the Standard 4, effective

24 November 2025

to ensure compliance with the SCoRE (Standards for Corporate Actions Reporting and Events) framework.

SCoRE Standard 4 defines harmonised rounding rules for cash proceeds resulting from corporate actions. It is part of the broader SCoRE Corporate Action Standards under the Eurosystem Collateral Management System (ECMS) initiative.

As previously announced in Announcement C23038 and D23053, starting with the November release, the rounding method for gross cash proceeds from corporate actions will be updated. Going forward, amounts will always be rounded down to the number of decimal places allowed by the payment currency (for example, two decimal places for EUR), replacing the previous commercial rounding approach.

This applies to amount fields :19B: and :19B::CHAR// under Cash Movement Details, reflected in Notifications, IPAR and Confirmation messages (MT564/MT566/SEEV.031/SEEV.035/SEEV.036/SEEV.037).
