Reference
Clearstream Fund Centre (CFCL)1 informs clients about the upcoming changes to the CFS Portal’s web-based user interface, effective
18 November 2024.
As part of CFCL’s ongoing efforts to enhance user experience and functionality, CFCL introduces the following updates:
CSDR penalties screens activation
From the settlement services module, users will now have the ability to:
- Query daily penalties and view detailed information;
- Query monthly aggregates to calculate net cash penalties for a specified period, categorised by Safekeeping accounts, Currency, Counterparty CSD and Depository of the CSD;
- Submit appeal requests;
- Query appeals and view detailed information, including status.
Important Note: Appeal requests must be submitted by the 10th business day of the following month.
Navigation integration of the cash module
The CFS Portal cash module will be more seamlessly integrated into the CFS Portal framework from a navigation standpoint. Following the November release, users will be able to access cash instructions and cash balances screens directly from the CFS Portal megamenu, with these screens opening within the same browser tab.
Additional biometric authentication factor
A third factor for user authentication on the CFS Portal will be added as part of the continuous effort to strengthen the IT security of the application.
The third factor will be a token generated by the Forgerock mobile authenticator app.
Clients will have the option to configure their Organisation Unit to use the new authenticator app or continue to work as at present.
The app can be protected by the user through the biometric capabilities of the mobile device, for example FaceID or Fingerprint, and can handle several different user accounts within one app.
The Forgerock mobile authenticator app is available for download on the:
Shareholder Communication Enhancement (SCE) – ISO 20022 rollout for General Meetings
Clients should refer to Announcement F24009.
