On Saturday 23 April 2016 Clearstream will be conducting a Business Continuity Management (BCM) – Systems Unavailability test. We invite customers to participate in this joint effort to improve our products and services. During this test, we will be simulating the unavailability of one of Clearstream’s production data centres.

Clearstream systems will be run in contingency mode, which will apply also to the real-time processing (RTP) period. Customers will have the opportunity to participate in the test between 12:00 and 14:00 (CEST) on Saturday 23 April 2016 to validate their connectivity and processing. All data input during the test will be processed. Normal processing will continue with the RTP period starting at 21:05 (CEST) on Sunday 24 April 2016.

Note: Independently of Clearstream’s BCM test, SWIFT has scheduled an Allowable Downtime Window (ADW) between 14:00 Saturday 23 April 2016 and 06:00 (CEST) Sunday 24 April 2016, during this time SWIFT services will not be available. For further information, please visit www.swift.com or liaise with your contact at SWIFT.

Customers who would like to participate in the BCM test are kindly asked to provide a contact person that can be reached if necessary. Please indicate details such as the name, telephone, fax and email details of this person to your Relationship Officer by latest Friday 8 April 2016.

Customers can also consider using their own backup site.

Further details on the BCM test are available in the attached PDF (for Premium Users only).
