Clearstream has won the "Third-Party Funds Custodian" award for its proven third-party funds custody solutions and related back-office service offering. The award was presented during Goodacre's Systems in the City (SITC) FinTech Conference and Awards 2021 presentation on 29 June 2021.

As part of the individual awards category, Maggie Fury, Sales & Client Services UK, at Clearstream London branch has been awarded as "Relationship Manager of the Year".

The Systems in the City Financial Technology Awards are the leading endorsement for suppliers of services and systems to the regulated financial services sector. They are based on an independent and factual annual accreditation process, overseen by three independent judges.

Stephen Pinner, Managing Director of Goodacre UK, who hosted the virtual awards presentation said: “The record number of submissions this year is a confirmation of the significance of the awards. Winners are determined by a number of factors but uniquely, references from those firms who actually use the products and services. Clearstream are to be congratulated for their performance and for their success this year".

Neil Wise, Global Head of Sales for Investment Fund Services at Clearstream said “We’re delighted to have received the award for the ‘Best Third-party Funds Custodian’ which acknowledges our third-party funds custody solutions. Outsourcing third-party funds custody to trusted specialists, such as Clearstream’s Vestima suite of fund execution services with the scale and expertise to do the job efficiently and compliantly with regulations, such as Client Assets Sourcebook (CASS) rules, is in many cases not just safer, but also much less costly."
