Business Continuity Management – Systems Unavailability test date

04.04.2024

Clearstream's philosophy is to constantly improve products and services and we will continue doing so during our annual disaster test this year. This also applies to the Business Continuity Management programme. As part of this programme, clients will again be offered the possibility to participate in our Business Continuity Management (BCM) test planned for

Saturday 12 October 2024

On that day, the unavailability of one of Clearstream's production data centres will be simulated and including the simulation of the loss of one availability zone of the cloud providers at the same time. During the course of the test, Clearstream systems will be run in contingency mode, which will apply also to the real-time processing (RTP) period. Clients will have the opportunity to participate in the test between 13:00 and 15:00 (CEST) to validate their connectivity and processing. Clients will also be able to access the T2/T2S platforms between 13:00 and 15:00 (CEST).

All data input during the test will be processed. Normal processing will resume with the RTP period starting at 21:05 (CEST) Sunday 13 October 2024.

In view of the circumstances of the test, all timings quoted here can only be approximate.
