On 17 July 2024, Clearstream will host a webcast on the tax certification process with regard to U.S. taxation for Qualified Intermediaries (QIs), Non-Qualified Intermediaries (NQIs) and for securities held in own accounts (OAs). In addition, the session will cover the U.S. tax refund and adjustment processing and its impact on Form 1042-S reporting (Foreign Person’s U.S. Source Income Subject to Withholding).

In the hands-on practice part at the end of the session, our expert will show you how to download data and do your own reconciliation via Xact Web Portal before the 1042-S report is released.
