Clearstream wins double award at the Asset Servicing Times (AST) Industry Excellence Awards

Clearstream has won two awards at the AST Industry Excellence Awards in both “Digital Asset Initiative” and “Rising Star” categories.

Leading the way in digital asset innovation

Clearstream’s next-generation digital securities platform, D7, received the “Digital Asset Initiative” award for its impact on the financial industry. D7 has collaborated with major financial institutions and participated in European Central Bank trials, showcasing its potential to reshape digital securities and post-trade services.

The latest offering, D7 DLT, is a state-of-the-art tokenized securities platform built on distributed-ledger technology and fully compliant with CSDR. D7 DLT allows clients to securely issue and manage securities, complementing the existing D7 platform and providing flexible options for digital and tokenized issuance.

Clearstream has also established readiness for integration of commercial money-backed digital currencies and cryptocurrencies with the launch of a secure plug-and-play crypto asset custody solution tailored to the needs of institutional clients.
