Business Continuity Management – Systems Unavailability test date
Reference
Clearstream’s philosophy is to constantly improve products and services and we will continue doing so during our annual disaster test this year. This also applies to the Business Continuity Management programme. As part of this programme, clients of Clearstream Securities Services and clients of Clearstream Fund Services will again be offered the possibility to participate in our Business Continuity Management (BCM) test planned for
Saturday 17 October 2026
On that day, Clearstream will simulate the partial loss of its production infrastructure running in the Google cloud provider environment. During the course of the test, Clearstream systems will be run in contingency mode on the remaining parts of its production environment to prove that all production applications can run as normal but with reduced capacity whilst meeting its RTO requirements. This test will also include the real-time processing (RTP) period. Clients will have the opportunity to participate in the test between 13:00 and 15:00 (CEST) to validate their connectivity and processing. Clients will also be able to access the T2/T2S platforms between 13:00 and 15:00 (CEST).
All data input during the test will be processed. Normal processing will resume with the RTP period starting at 21:05 (CEST) Sunday 18 October 2026.

In view of the circumstances of the test, all timings quoted here can only be approximate.
