Successful Business Continuity Management test with client participation

On Saturday, 17 October 2026, Clearstream Banking S.A. successfully performed a Business Continuity Management – Systems Unavailability test in which it offered clients the opportunity to participate.

The objective was to simulate the loss of one of the cloud services availability zones while production processing continued, thereby verifying that business activities could still be performed from the remaining availability zones.

Clearstream IT and business teams successfully validated the availability of business-critical applications and performed day-to-day business activities in Frankfurt, Luxembourg, Prague and Singapore locations.

Clients from various locations in Europe, Asia, America and the Middle East were active during the test and no issues were reported.

This again confirms the reliability of Clearstream’s systems and the continuous attention to safeguarding our clients' business activities.
