Settlement suspended in the CREST system of Euroclear UK and Ireland – update II

Following the Non Standard CREST Closure event on Friday 11 September 2020, Euroclear UK and Ireland (EUI) were able to resolve the issue over the weekend and prepare the system for settlement activity on Monday 14 September 2020. The CREST system started to process settlements but unfortunately issues were identified shortly after settlement started and therefore settlements are currently not being processed whilst EUI identify the issue.

CBL is monitoring the situation closely and will keep customers posted on the progress.
