Citibank Europe: Instructions rejected on depository code 60 - Update

Clients should note that settlement instructions today on depository code 60 – Citibank Europe pending for settlement and received before 12:45 CET today have been rejected in error.

Instructions received after 12:45 CET have been processed normally.

Clearstream Banking is in the process of regenerating impacted instructions between 1 November 2023 at 00:04:01 CET and today (7 November 2023) at 12:45 CET.

Clearstream Banking will contact clients if there is any action needed.

If clients choose to instruct directly, they should ensure that they and their counterparty set the optional settlement filter.

If clients had an instruction pending cancellation or sent a modification before 12:45 CET today, Clearstream Banking requests clients to resend the cancellation after regeneration has been finalised.

Clients should also note that Bridge settlement has been put on hold until resolved.
