Clearstream operational update VIII
Clearstream Banking informs clients that the reconciliation process has been successfully completed.
There is a handful of instructions that remain unreconciled and pending by T2S. Impacted clients will be contacted by Clearstream directly, to advise them on the next actions to be taken to cancel these pending instructions.
Clearstream Banking advises that the deadline for appeals for penalties for the month February 2025 has been extended until 20 March 2025.
Clients should note that discussions at European level about whether penalty fees will be applied continue. Therefore, for the time being, we ask clients to refrain from raising appeals linked to this incident.
A decision from ESMA is expected by 17 March 2025.
