ClearstreamXact: Testing window for Clearstream General Meeting Service

Clearstream¹ offers clients a new opportunity to participate in the upcoming testing window for the Clearstream General Meeting Service, following the successful go-live of the Shareholder Communication Enhancement (SCE) and the ISO 20022 implementation

To ensure smooth onboarding and support the transition to the Clearstream General Meeting Service, Clearstream is offering a new testing window for clients to test the flow with MX messages and to validate their setup and integration with the new service:

• Testing window: 31 August 2026 – 11 September 2026

The testing period is open to:

• Clients interested in adopting the ISO 20022-based Clearstream General Meeting Service.
• Clients preparing to transition from General Meeting Service via ISS and seeking to validate their integration with the Clearstream General Meeting Service.

All clients are encouraged to take advantage of this testing opportunity to ensure readiness and benefit from the next level of automation and integration in general meeting processing.

Clearstream asks clients to register for the testing window by completing the online General Meeting Service Testing Subscription Form for General Meeting Testing before 18 August 2026. Clients should pay close attention to the details outlined in the form.

All impacted clients are asked to participate in these testing periods to ensure readiness and continuity of service.

Clients are reminded that all MX instructions via Swift Fin+ must be addressed to the CBL DN ou=xxx,o=cedelull, o=swift, both in the live environment and the testing window.

The test will involve the following ISINs:

• SHS SIEMENS AG (registered share) – DE0007236101 (Germany)
• SHS TESLA MOTORS INC – US88160R1014 (United States)
• SHS TOTAL SA – FR0000120271 (France)

The testing scenarios will involve the possibility for clients to test main types of general meeting instructions – EVOT, PRXY and PHYS. On the German market, Clearstream chose a registered share, so that requests for registration of the position could be made together with voting instructions.
