Monday, 30 November 2026

The following improvements to the functionality and user experience in Xact Web Portal will be implemented at the beginning of the business day on 30 November 2026:

Enhanced functionality

Cash & Liquidity > Cash Instructions

Address format enhancements

In alignment with ISO 20022 CBPR+ guidelines, the address field has been updated. When creating cash instructions with Name and Address information, unstructured address lines will be complemented by dedicated structured address fields:

  • Street Name;
  • Town Name;
  • Country.

In the Xact Web Portal GUI, users can enter address details using either the Structured or Unstructured format. If a value is entered in any of the Structured Address fields (Street Name, Town Name, or Country), the Unstructured Address field is automatically disabled. Similarly, once a value is entered in the Unstructured Address field, the Structured Address fields are disabled. This helps ensure that address details are provided in one format only and avoids conflicting information.

Cash File Upload

These structured address updates also impact the Cash File Upload format.

Action required: Clients using the Cash File Upload feature must download the updated Cash File Upload template from Xact Web Portal to ensure their file formats reflect the updated address structure and avoid payment rejections.

Settlement > Security Instructions

In Create Security Instruction, it will be possible to select OWNI and OWNE as security instruction types when instructing with a CEU account.

Query with Reference only will be supported for the following additional reference types:

  • Account Servicer Transaction Identification;
  • Processor Transaction Identification;
  • Market Infrastructure Identification.

Two-way navigation is introduced between the CSDR Monthly Aggregates screen and the Security Instructions screen, enabling users to navigate directly between monthly penalty aggregates and their corresponding PFOD (Payment Free of Delivery) instructions.

Pre-release instructions that receive no update within ten business days will be automatically cancelled, so that outdated instructions do not remain open in Xact Web Portal. Instructions in "awaiting feedback" status for more than 20 business days will also be automatically cleaned up.

Data Analytics > Eligible Securities Report

A new report will be available in the Data Analytics section, listing all securities eligible in Clearstream.

Reporting & Monitoring > Report Centre > Manage Report Subscriptions

To improve user experience when modifying report subscriptions, a View Differences function will be added. The function is available in the List View, for Report Subscriptions with a “Pending Modification“ status. When selecting View Differences for one or several rows, a pop-up window appears with a list of attributes changed for the selected reports.

Enhanced user experience

Clients can benefit from an enhanced user experience and a more user-friendly layout.

Tax Certificate > Tax Document Request

Users will be able to create, query and monitor their Tax Document Requests.

User Management > User & User Group - User

Users will be able to create and query Xact Web Portal users.

User Management > File Transfer Management - File Store User

Users will be able to create and query a File Store User.

Client testing

These enhancements are already visible in the client testing environment, giving the users a glimpse of the upcoming changes.
