The following types of beneficial owner are recognised for tax purposes in France:
- Residents of Double Taxation Treaty (DTT) countries;
- Foreign individuals;
- Foreign Collective Investment Vehicles (CIVs);
- EU parent companies;
- Not-for-Profit Organisations;
- Foreign tax-exempt entities;
- Particular foreign entities;
- French residents (direct clients of Clearstream Fund Centre).
Relief at source and quick refund are not available on dividends distributed by Vestima Fund Securities.
Standard refund is available to the following beneficial owners:

Please note that CFCL S.A. accepts client requests for the application of Double Taxation Treaty (DTT) benefits exclusively through the Standard Refund process. Requests submitted via Quick Refund or Relief at Source mechanisms are not supported.
This applies to a wide range of investor types, including—but not limited to—foreign individuals, mutual and pension funds, collective investment vehicles (CIVs), charities, foundations, trusts, partnerships, and other entities. Eligibility for treaty benefits and applicable tax rates may vary depending on the investor’s legal status, country of residence, and the nature of the income received.
All claims must comply with the eligibility criteria and procedural requirements defined in the applicable tax treaty and must be submitted in accordance with the operational guidelines issued by Clearstream Banking (CBL). Clients can apply for a standard refund on behalf of beneficial owners through Clearstream Fund Centre by submitting the appropriate documentation.
