SWIFT standards should be respected when instructing cash payments in Swedish Krona (SEK).

For payment instructions to be processed in the market,  it is mandatory to handle Swift Messages MT103 and MT202 as set out in the SWIFT standards:

• MT103 for payments to non-financial institutions;
• MT202 for payments to financial institutions.

Not respecting the SWIFT standards may result in a return of funds.
