CFCL eligible fund types

Investment funds that are established in the following forms are eligible in CFCL:

Open-ended (mutual funds) in compliance with the Securities and Investment Business Act, 2010 and Mutual Funds Regulations, 2010. They can be established as a company, partnership, or unit trust;

Closed-ended (private investment funds) in compliance with Securities and Investment Business (Amendment) Act, 2019 and Private Investment Funds Regulations, 2019. They can be established as a company, partnership, or unit trust.

No CSD link as the British Virgin Island is register only.

(ETFs) Exchange-Traded Funds (ETFs) are not permitted and cannot be traded within the British Virgin Islands market.
