Register market

Funds in Guernsey must either be authorized or registered by the Guernsey Financial Services Commission.

A mutual fund, private equity, and hedge fund (collective investment schemes) can be in the form of:

  • Unit trusts under The Trusts (Guernsey) Law, 2007;
  • Companies
    • Cellular and non-cellular companies registered under The Companies (Guernsey) Law, 2008
