Austria: Termination of link between Austrian Central Securities Depository and Bank of Cyprus
Clearstream Banking1 would like to inform customers that the Austrian Central Securities Depository (OeKB CSD) is terminating its link with the Bank of Cyprus.
As a result, Clearstream customers with securities related to the below security (which Clearstream currently holds with OeKB CSD via its link to the Bank of Cyprus, on behalf of its customers) are requested to either sell these securities or to reregister them in their own name:

Impact on customers
Customers wanting to reregister securities in Cyprus in their own name will require the following documents.
The deadline for customers to reregister their securities into their own name free of charge is the close of business on 29 September 2016. After this date, the certificates of the securities will be transferred to OeKB CSD’s vaults in Vienna and OeKB CSD will charge for any reregistrations.
Registration for private individuals:
- Instrument of Transfer of Shares form (attached): The form needs to be signed by the person to be registered; and
- Copy of passport and certificate of residence (or an equivalent document to verify residence).
Registration for companies:
- Company register abstract;
- Memorandum and Articles of Association;
- Certificate of Good Standing;
- Register of members and directors;
- Confirmation of registered address; and
- Address to which the certificate should be sent.
