Unified for New Opportunities: Wave 3 - Special migration process required for TELIA Company AB, ISIN SE0000667925

Clearstream Europe AG¹ informs clients about an upcoming exceptional migration process for the Swedish security TELIA Company AB, ISIN SE0000667925.

Following the merger of Sonera Oyj and Telia AB in 2002, Clearstream Europe maintained the security through a remote market link to Finland.

Due to this specific setup, the security cannot follow the standard Wave 3 market activation process for Sweden under Project UNO. Consequently, additional steps are required as part of the market activation process, as outlined below.

Migration approach and timeline

On Thursday, 10 September 2026, Clearstream will perform the following activities:

1. Closure of the existing link

Before the end-of-day processing, Clearstream Europe will close the current link to the Finnish market for ISIN SE0000667925.

2. Cancellation of pending CEU domestic instructions

Pending CEU-Finland domestic settlement non-matched instructions in this security will be cancelled in accordance with the existing procedure. Bilateral cancellations are required by the clients if instructions are matched. Cancelled domestic instructions have to be reinstructed by the clients after creation of the new link in Sweden.

The closure of the link will not trigger any cancellation of German Stock Exchange or OTC transactions in CEU, CBL and the Swedish domestic market. Clients do not have to cancel any instructions by themselves either.

3. Realignment of the position

After end-of-day processing, Clearstream will realign the CEU position from the Finnish remote market, depository code 5F, to the Swedish home market, depository code 27.

4. Static data update

In parallel, the relevant reference data will be updated to reflect the Swedish home-market setup and the custody type will be changed to NCSC-T.

WM Datenservice will be informed and static data will be changed as part of the GAT file in the evening of 10 September 2026 in line with the Wave 3 UNO market activation WM GAT file changes.

The LMP start date will be effective from Friday, 11 September 2026.

5. Creation of the new link

Following the change of business day, Clearstream will create the new security link for the Swedish market.

This procedure will not affect German Stock Exchange and OTC transactions in CEU, CBL and the Swedish domestic market.

Impact on clients and required actions

Clients should note the following:

• Pending (non-matched) CEU-Finland domestic instructions in ISIN SE0000667925 will be cancelled as part of the migration process.
• Bilateral cancellations are required by the clients if domestic CEU- Finland instructions are matched.
• Affected clients must review the cancellation reporting and, where required, submit new instructions after the Swedish link has been activated on 11 September 2026.
• German Stock exchange and OTC transactions in CEU, CBL and the Swedish domestic market will not require cancellation or reinstruction.
• Cleared Business (Eurex Clearing and CBOE Clear) will not require cancellation or reinstruction.
• After the migration, settlement with domestic counterparties will take place through the Swedish market setup rather than through the Finnish market setup.
• Clients should review their standing settlement instructions format to ensure that they reflect the Swedish market and depository code 27 for this security.

Clearstream will monitor the migration closely to ensure operational continuity.
