As part of the Unified for New Opportunities initiative, Clearstream informs clients about the upcoming automated migration of non-EUR GC Pooling (GCP) and Re-Use collateral setups from 6-series accounts to Clearstream Banking S.A. (CBL) collateral accounts, scheduled for

Saturday, 24 October 2026

The information below is only relevant to clients who are currently using 6-series collateral accounts for non-EUR GC Pooling (GCP) and/or Re-Use collateral purposes.

Clients without such a setup are not impacted by the automated migration on 24 October 2026.

Securities positions will be migrated automatically, and no action is required from clients.

Key migration details

Migration date: Bookings will take place in Creation on Saturday, 24 October 2026, and executed directly between the old and new collateral accounts.

Transfer type: Bookings will be processed as free of payment (FoP) transfers without special qualifiers, and reflected in the client's regular CBL settlement reporting as FoP movements.

Open trades and positions: Clients do not need to close any open trades. All positions will transfer automatically to the new accounts, and the CmaX book will update accordingly.

CmaX setup unchanged: Existing setups in CmaX remain identical—no new contracts, claims, or references will be generated.

Source accounts: Source account settings in CmaX are unaffected. Any necessary adjustments to source account can be completed independently before or after 24 October 2026.

Impact on clients

No action is required from clients.

From Monday, 26 October 2026, clients will be able to review the updated account settings in ClearstreamXact.

Collateral reporting reflecting the new CBL collateral accounts will commence on Monday, 26 October 2026.

Important note: Valid tax certification and Power of Attorney (POA) are mandatory prerequisites for the automatic migration of client accounts. Clients must ensure that these documents are fully completed and submitted in advance to avoid any disruption to their migration and collateral allocation.
