Thailand: Monthly disclosure reporting discontinued

Clearstream Banking1 informs customers that further to Announcements A19092 and A22010, regarding the monthly disclosure reporting of Thai debt securities and the Bank of Thailand’s (BOT) Bond Investor Registration (BIR) Scheme, for the data from July 2022 onwards, effective

immediately

the BOT allows Clearstream Banking to discontinue the monthly disclosure process and continue with only the enhanced daily disclosure reporting of Ultimate Beneficial Owner (UBO) holdings and settlement transaction data for Thai debt securities.

Impact on customers

Customers no longer need to provide monthly disclosure reporting for Thai debt securities as indicated in Announcement A19092. However, in order to facilitate Clearstream Banking’s automated daily disclosure reporting to the BOT, customers are reminded to adhere to the BIR Scheme requirements as per Announcement A22010 and in the Market Link Guide - Thailand.
