Clearstream Banking1informs customers that the Finnish Tax Authorities (FTA) have released updated versions of the application forms VEROH 6163e, 6164e and 6167e for reclaiming withholding tax on Finnish dividends, effective

immediately

The new form includes the following new fields:

VEROH 6163e - Application for Refund of Finnish Withholding Tax on Dividends (non-individual applicant)

  • Field 1.14: The option "association" and "charity" have been combined to one option
  • Field 1.18: Umbrella funds
  • Fields 1.19 – 1.21: Details about previous applications
  • Field 2.2:  Representative's Business ID
  • Field 5.1: Nominee registered shares has been added as a new option
  • Fields 7.1 – 7.4: Share lending and beneficial owner. Additional questions have been included in this section.

VEROH 6164e - Application for Refund of Finnish Withholding Tax on Dividends (individual applicants)

  • Field 3.8:  ISIN code of payer
  • Field 3.17: On what grounds do you seek refund?

VEROH 6167e - Specification of dividend payments for which refund is being requested

  • Field 2.2: ISIN code of payer

Impact on customers

The current versions of the application forms remain valid provided they contain a QR code. However, customers are recommended to start using the new forms with immediate effect.
