Canada: Quick refund deadlines for 2022 dividend payments
Clearstream Banking1 informs customers that the customer deadlines for submitting tax instructions on dividend payments paid in 2022 from Canadian equities, that are held with Clearstream Banking’s depository in Canada (Royal Bank of Canada dep. 4 C), using the quick refund procedure through Clearstream Banking, are as set out in the table below:

From 1 December 2022 to 31 December 2022 | 10:00 CET on 2 January 2023 |
Impact on customers
Customers are requested, with immediate effect, to apply the above deadlines when submitting quick refund requests through Clearstream Banking, for the current calendar year for dividend payments from Canadian equities.
