Poland: New information on extension of relief at source service until 31 December 2020

In Announcement A19117, Clearstream Banking informed customers that its Polish depository Bank Handlowy S.A. extended their relief at source service until 31 December 2020 for certain categories of beneficiaries regardless of the PLN 2 million limit.
It is expected that Poland’s Ministry of Finance will publish an ordinance to announce the extension of the above relief at source service beyond 31 December 2020.
In addition to this information, new tax regulations in the withholding tax process are expected during 2021.
Following the absence of further information, the procedure described in Announcement A19117 will be applied until 31 December 2020.
